Stop or Extend a Recurring/Repeat Deal/Sale

Things can change over time and you might find the need to stop a recurring deal or extend it :)

Here's what you need to do:

STEP 1

On the Deals page, click on the "Edit" button at the top right of the page.

TO STOP A RECURRING DEAL

STEP 2

On the Recurring Deal details section, change the "Until" date prior to when the next due date would have taken place.

STEP 3

Click on "Update Deal"

The following example is for a Deal setup to Start on 01/11/2017- Finish on 30/11/2017 and repeat once a month Until 30/04/2018 which means they are 5 recurring deals left in the series with each one due the first day of each month. If we wanted Ninjodo to stop creating the recurring deals after the month of December, we would need to set the "Until" date anywhere from 02/12/2017 to 31/12/2017, that way the next due date in the series (01/01/2018) is past the "Until" date and therefore the system will not create that Deal nor the remaining of the series.

TO EXTEND A RECURRING DEAL

STEP 2

On the Recurring Deal details section, change the "Until" date further in time until you want Ninjodo to automatically create the recurring deals.

STEP 3

Click "Update Deal"

The following example is for a Deal setup to Start on 01/11/2017- Finish on 30/11/2017 and repeat once a month Until 30/04/2018 which means they are 5 recurring deals left in the series with each one due the first day of each month. If we wanted Ninjodo to keep creating the recurring deals further in time, to complete a year in this case- we would need to set the "Until" date anywhere from 02/10/2017 to 31/10/2017, that way the system would create recurring deals until October 2018.
